HIKING
Koli: Striking Hiking to Mäkränaho Meadow
Come and join an unhurried nature tour amid fields and forests of Koli National Park! The tour begins from Retkitupa Tour and Guide Service situated on the premises of the Sokos Hotel Koli. We visit the flowery Mäkränaho Meadow and stop on the highest hilltops of the Koli Hills, Ukko-Koli, Akka-Koli and Paha-Koli. During our tour we will have a wooden cup of local juice. Our guide will show us the unique local flora and tell intriguing stories about the region’s history and slash-and-burn cultivation formerly practiced in the area. The tour ends at the Retkitupa. Guiding in English. Valid on Tuesdays 23.6.-11.8.2012 at 1.00pm and duration 2h. Group size min 2 person.

Nurmes: Hiking tour in Teeri-Lososuo´s wetland
Our destination is situated in the southern Kainuu and offers a hiking tour in the very bosom

RIVER RAFTING
Lieksa: River rafting at Ruunaa Rapids by wooden boat or rubber boat
The speed and excitement of white water rafting makes it the most popular activity in Ruunaa. You can choose a more peaceful ride in a wooden boat steered by a cox or a faster one paddling in an inflatable dinghy. Tours daily 1.6.-12.8.2012 at 11 am by rubber boat or at 12 by wooden boat. Duration about 4 h. English speaking guide in rubber boat tour all the time and on the wooden boat tour usually at the start and end and on meal time.

Koli: The Great fishing tour on Lake Pielinen
This trip is for true fishing kings. It includes the best places where you can get salmon, trout and pike etc. The trip is conducted by local professional fishing guide who knows the best tricks how to cheat Ahti (the Finnish lake king). Joensuu: Come along on a fishing trip to the lake Pyhäselkä

ATV SAFARIS
Nurmes: ATV-safari to Revonniemi
Tour starts at Forest Folk Safarihouse, where the driving and safety instructions are given by the guide. The ATV´s are registrated for road traffic. Driving along the nice route of Revonniemi is easy. Midway there is a snack break at the tepee of Ellu. Return to Safarihouse. Duration: 2 hours.

Nurmes: The scenery route of Jurttivaara by ATV
Tour starts at Forest Folk Safarihouse. Guide gives the driving and safety instructions. Midway there is a break at the highest hill enjoying the magnificent vistas over Lake Pielinen. At the hilltop tepee there is a coffee and snack served by the campfire. Return back to Safarihouse. Duration: 3 hours.

Joensuu: ATV safari in Jaamankangas
The trip starts in Holiday Linnunlahti with information on driving with ATV. The driving is arranged in Jaamankangas, outside of Joensuu in the nature. Return to Linnunlahti. Groupe size: 2-6 persons. Duration: about 2 h.
