Description:

A safe way to meet the large carnivores of the taiga forest is to spend a night in our animal watching lodge in the middle of the wilderness.

During the night you may see and photograph brown bears, wolverines, golden eagles and even wolves and lynxes. You will also have a chance to walk in the forests, enjoy hot saunas and taste Karelian delicacies.

Period: April-July 2013

Duration: 2 days/1 night
Group size: 1-16 persons
Price: 205 €/person in a group of 1-2 persons, 195 €/person in a group of 3-16 persons
 

Programme:

Day 1: Arrival at the Keljänpuro wildlife lodge in the early afternoon, followed by welcoming info and coffee. Travel to observation lodge in afternoon and spend the night observing the silent forest and its habitants. Snacks are served in the evening and during the night. The listening equipment can be used freely, allowing you to get your camera ready when an animal approaches. Return to the wildlife lodge in the morning.

Day 2: After breakfast diplomas will be handed out. Departure for Joensuu.


Price includes: services according to the programme (flights and additional trips not included), 1 night in the observation lodge, meals (snack during the evening and night in the observation lodge, breakfast on day 2), local transfers to the observation lodge, insurance and VAT.
